Regional Sales Manager

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Northern Ohio. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a territory that spans 15 states from the Midwest to the West Coast. Your primary responsibilities will include driving sales, managing a team of independent sales representatives, and strengthening customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales targets and objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of independent sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns and strategies.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the senior management team.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to represent the company and generate new business leads.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales and sales management, preferably in the plumbing, HVAC/R, irrigation, waterworks, or industrial PVF sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally attend industry events outside the region.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
