D.O.T. Classified Shipping Terms: North American shipments containing plastic pipe cements and cleaners through quart size will be shipped Consumer Commodity ORM-D; gallon size requires the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Flammable Red Label on all cartons. All cartons on shipments to overseas countries are required to have the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Flammable Red Label on all cartons. North American shipments containing Green Blaster 1 lb. and 2 lb. sizes will be shipped Consumer Commodity ORM-D; Green Blaster 6 lb. size requires the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Corrosive Warning Label on all cartons. All cartons on shipments to overseas countries are required to have the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Corrosive Warning Label on all cartons. North American shipments containing NOW ! and QUIK ! 32 oz. size will be shipped Consumer Commodity ORM-D; sizes over 32 oz. are required to have the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Corrosive Warning Label on all cartons. All cartons on shipments to overseas countries are required to have the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Corrosive Warning Label on all cartons. North American shipments containing Sludge • B • Gone 32 oz. size will be shipped Consumer Commodity ORM-D; gallon size requires the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Flammable Red Label on all cartons. All cartons on shipments to overseas countries are required to have the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Flammable Red Label on all cartons. North American and overseas shipments of S39 Solder Flux are required to have the proper UN Number on Bills of Lading and a Corrosive Label on all cartons.

Carriers: J.C. Whitlam Manufacturing Company reserves the right to choose freight carriers on all prepaid shipments.

Prior Notification: Charges by a carrier for notification prior to delivery will be the responsibility of the customer.

Palletization: J.C. Whitlam Manufacturing Company will palletize and stretch-wrap. Customer will be notified of any additional charges prior to shipment. When receiving shipment, count and sign for individual cartons. All pallets shipped as individual cartons.

Shortages and Damage Claims: Examine shipments on receipt for shortages or damages, and file claims immediately with carrier. All damages or shortages must be noted on the Carrier's Bill of Lading when receiving shipment. We will assist you in filing claims. Bills of Lading covering shipments are an acknowledgment by the Carrier of receipt of product in apparent good condition. If shipment is not delivered to you in good condition, it is your responsibility to make a claim against the Carrier. Always have the shortage or damage noted by the delivery driver on both his/her and your copy of the delivery receipt with his/her signature. These notations should also appear on the freight bill. Make your claim promptly to the Carrier, for the Carrier will not consider a claim unless presented within ninety days from date of delivery. If the shipment is to be rejected, notify J.C. Whitlam Manufacturing Company. If you accept from a Carrier a shipment that is short or damaged, without having proper inspections and notations made, you do so at your own risk. If there is concealed damage, call the Carrier's representative or agent to view the damage and have him/her mark the freight bill. Also obtain a copy of his/her inspection report. Concealed loss or damage, discovered after delivery of shipment, must be reported to Carrier's agent or representative immediately upon discovery, but no later than 15 days after receipt. Claims for loss or damage can not be deducted from our invoice, nor payment of invoice withheld awaiting adjustment of such claims.

Limited Guarantee Sale and Return Policy: No returns accepted without prior authorization being RECEIVED from our CORPORATE OFFICES in Wadsworth, Ohio. When authorization is given, an Authorization Number will be issued which must appear on shipping documents. A trucking company will be designated which must be used. Any deviation from these requirements may cause the shipment to be refused. Products may be returned within two years of purchase date except for plastic solvent cements and cleaners, which may be returned within twelve months of purchase date. Freight must be paid by purchaser and returned in resalable condition. A repacking charge may be applied.

Standard Packaging: Whitlam Chemical and Plumb-Pro Division products are shipped in full case quantities only.

Warranty: J.C. Whitlam Manufacturing Co. guarantees Whitlam and Plumb-Pro products to be in compliance with acceptable commercial standards for material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase, unless noted on price sheet. Complete products must be returned for credit or replacement.
