STAINLESS STEEL PTFE TAPE is a Gray PTFE pipe joint compound in tape form. Prevents galling, seizing, and corrosion. 4 MIL Thick, 1.2g/cm3.
STAINLESS STEEL PTFE TAPE can be used on all types of stainless steel threaded fittings for passage of water potable and non-potable, most chemicals, oxygen, gas, hydraulic and high pressure lines. It works exceptionally well on assemblies with sharp coarse threads.
Chemically inert. It is suitable for use on systems carrying almost all types of chemicals and gases.
Ultra high density tape.
Exceeds MIL Spec T-27730A.
